In-kind Contributions

Green Doors accepts both financial and material contributions that directly benefit its residents. You can assist with fundraising activities or help by planning a donation drive. As you may have read, Green Doors operates a Homeless Prevention Services program focused on providing low-income individuals and families in the Austin area with basic necessities that enable them to prioritize their limited income to meet their housing needs. This program includes a weekly food pantry and clothes closet.

You can host an in-kind donation drive to help Green Doors meet the needs of its residents. If you wish to contribute items listed below, please contact us for delivery arrangements.

Our Food Pantry is always in need of:

Canned meats (i.e. tuna, chicken), Jellies (i.e. grape jelly), Oil, Salt and Pepper or Sugar and Sweetener

Our Houses are always in need of:

USB Sticks, Sets of Dishes or Pots and Pans, Movies on DVD or Games (i.e. Chess Board)
